Southern Accord Chorus is an award-winning a cappella chorus in Lethbridge, Alberta. We are a passionate welcoming community where women from all walks of life—students to teachers, business owners to homemakers—connect through music. Our passion is not just about singing—it’s about connection, growth, and community. We come together to share our love for music, develop our skills, and create lasting friendships. Meet Our Director - Jill McLeod
Since becoming Director in 2020, Jill McLeod has been a driving force behind the chorus’s growth and success, guiding it with warmth, skill, and a clear love of a cappella 4-part harmony. Her leadership and strategic vision for the chorus have resulted in numerous awards at competitions throughout Western Canada.
Jill has been an integral and much-valued member of the Southern Accord Chorus since 1995. Over the years, she has served as Assistant Director, Baritone Section Leader, and Board Member, sharing her energy, musicianship, and steady leadership in each role.
She also made chorus history as a member of the Sass-eh! quartet, the first Southern Accord quartet to sing on the regional stage - proving that talent, teamwork, and a little ‘sass’ can take you a long way. Jill’s dedication and enthusiasm continue to shape Southern Accord into the vibrant chorus it is today.

Southern Accord Chorus is a confident, well-rehearsed vocal performance group that strives for excellence in four-part harmony by offering music education for vocal skill development. We contribute to our community through public performances.
